1. Who these terms are with
Search Lab is a trading name of Pacific AI NZ Ltd, Auckland, New Zealand. These terms apply when you accept a Search Lab quote for a website build or care plan.
2. Website build
Your quote states the build package and price. One round of changes to the initial build is included. Extra pages, new features, redesign work and changes outside the agreed build are charged separately at the prices shown on the Pricing page or as quoted.
3. When the monthly plan starts
Your monthly care plan starts on the day the website goes live. It does not start while the initial website is still being built.
4. Minimum term
Care plans have a twelve-month minimum term. After the first twelve months, the plan continues month to month. It does not automatically renew into another twelve-month minimum term.
5. Ending the plan
After the minimum term, either side may end the plan with thirty days notice. At the end of that notice period, the website comes off Search Lab hosting unless you arrange to take the site files with you.
6. Taking the site with you
If you want the website files to host elsewhere, the release fee is $250 excluding GST. Your domain is always yours. If Search Lab registered it for you, it will be transferred to you free on request.
7. What the monthly plan includes
Your plan includes hosting, SSL, daily backups, software and security updates, uptime monitoring and the small content-change allowance for your tier. Unused change allowances do not roll over.
8. Work charged separately
New pages, extra changes beyond your allowance, rush changes, new features, redesigns and restructuring are charged separately according to the published Pricing page or an agreed quote.
9. Local Search
Search Lab does not guarantee any position or ranking in Google or another search engine. Local Search covers ongoing work intended to improve the accuracy, usefulness and technical health of your local web presence.
10. Pricing and GST
All prices are in NZD and exclude GST unless a quote says otherwise.
